Sony today announced that it has started the worldwide rollout of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, and the Z3 Tablet Compact from today. From next week, the company will also start the global rollout of the Lollipop update for the Xperia Z2 and Z2 Tablet. It has also confirmed that it will be bringing Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3, but did not provide any specific timeframe for the release....

Samsung has just announced the new Crystal Edition Galaxy S5 which comes studded with — you guessed it — Swarovski crystals on the back. The latest flagship smartphone from OnePlus is seeing some negative feedback from some users, after they discovered their handset has a major issue. Reddit user Nick Morelli discovered that his OnePlus 5 reboots after dialing 911. Morelli saw a building fire in Seattle recently and tried to dial emergency services from his phone. However, upon the call connecting, the phone itself suddenly rebooted, making it impossible for Morelli to inform 911 of the situation....

Sony announced a phone a few weeks ago in Japan called the “Z1F”. It’s essentially the company’s flagship Xperia Z1, but with a smaller battery and a smaller 4.3 inch 720p display. T-Mobile just unveiled its truly unlimited plan with T-Mobile ONE, and now Sprint is getting in on the truly unlimited plan, too. Sprint’s calling it “Unlimited Freedom,” and it shares plenty of similarities with T-Mobile’s offering. Namely, Unlimited Freedom customers will get access to unlimited data, talk, and text, but there are caveats to getting that unlimited access.
