Slices of special lives Apple has released four ads in the campaign so far, all titled, “Behind the Mac”. Three out of the four ads have a similar storyline and show how Mac notebooks (we use the term “MacBook” and “Mac” here to cover all Mac notebooks in the ad– it is simpler that way) help them in their daily lives, whereas the other ad is a combination of several different slices from the entire campaign (clearly there will be other ads in this line – these are just the first three)....

Researchers were able to “hack” the Galaxy S5’s sensor by finding photographing a latent fingerprint on the smartphone’s display. From there, a wood glue mold was made of the fingerprint, the researchers were able to successfully unlock the hset. at’s more ominous, though, is that this is also a method of accessing yl with the Galaxy S5. In the wrong hs, a hacker could easily send funds to his or her own account with little effort....

Samsung is known to use a two-chip strategy on its flaghsip Galaxy S handsets. Last year was an exception in this regard due to the fiery Snapdragon 810 chipset, but with Qualcomm back on track this year, the company has launched two variants of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge this year: one powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset and another by its own Exynos 8890 chipset. Both chipsets are widely different from each other: the Snapdragon 820 chip from Qualcomm is a quad-core chip that uses the company’s custom Kyro 64-bit cores, while the Exynos 8890 is an octa-core chip that features Samsung’s own custom M1 ARM cores....

Previously, Samsung has presented its Galaxy Buds 2 in Pokemon ball Edition Cover Case and includes premium character stickers priced at 134,000 Won ($105) in Korea. The launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is not so far now. The Geekbench listing for Samsung SM-F721U, which is believed to be Galaxy Z Flip 4, has suggested being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset. If you plan on making a consumer electronics device that has Bluetooth support, you should to get it certified by the Bluetooth SIG. Samsung, looking to follow the rules, listed a tablet device called the “SM-T311” on the Bluetooth SIG’s website. According to Unwired View, that’s the model name for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab 3. What’s the Tab 3 going to be all about? Supposedly it’ll have an 8 inch screen that pushes 1280 x 800 pixels, a quad core processor, and it’ll be less than 7 mm thin....

Maps is here to help. Some users on the Maps Beta are seeing speed limit signs pop up in when driving using both the Android app with Android Auto. It appears to be one of those staggered, server-side rollouts. Even though I’m on the Maps Beta they haven’t shown up for me yet. Calling the value plans from other carriers “bait switch” because they promise low fares but automatically charge users exorbitant data overage fees, T-Mobile proudly trumpets the fact that Simple Starter customers won’t be automatically charged for going over their data limit. There’s a catch, though. Most T-Mobile plans don’t cut you off when you run out of 4G E data, they just drop you back to the HS+ network, with slower speeds....

Samsung’s Galaxy S6 is coming soon, set to be announced on the first of March, and Samsung wants to make sure you get a chance to see it happen live. Mega data breaches keep on happening. The latest, at the time of writing, is the Cit0Day breach affecting 23,000 hacked databases containing around 13 billion data records, including email addresses and passwords. Couple the mega breaches with credential-stuffing attacks, of which there were 100 billion between July 2018 and June 2020, and you have a major problem with authentication. A possible ray of hope in creating usable and secure access is to use a risk-based approach to access control....

In Summary The Snapdragon 778G 5G was recently launched as the successor to the Snapdragon 768G 5G which was launched last year. It is a slightly downgraded version of the Snapdragon 780G which was launched earlier this year. All three chipsets fall into the upper-midrange category in Qualcomm’s 5G portfolio. We try to find out how improved the new generation of 700 series chipsets is. The SD 765G 5G was succeeded by the 768G 5G which was essentially a slightly improved version with not a lot of changes....

The PlayStation Now is already running, but it is limited to the games of PlayStation 3, so that was originally announced as a backward compatibility solution to run classic games on the PS4. Instead of running old games directly on the new console, you simply have to pay $20 a month and then you can stream titles from Sony servers directly on your console and PC. Support for PS4 games on PlayStation Now means that Sony will have to increase the capacity of its servers, since the titles will run remotely – but it also means that you do not need to install any games and you will have access to platform exclusive Without having to buy the console, as long as you have a good connection at your home or place....

Sony’s Xperia Z2 Tablet, which was officially announced in late February of this year, will now officially be launched in the United States under Verizon Wireless’s carrier flag. The Big Red network says it’s an exclusive device, which means if you wanted to get your hands on Sony’s newest Android-based tablet, especially with 4G LTE-connectivity, then it looks like you’ll only have one option. Officially announced on July 9, Verizon confirmed some suspicions that the Sony-branded Xperia Z2 Tablet would land on their network at some point this year....

Sprint is getting its fifth 5G device from OnePlus. The carrier already offers four 5G devices in the U.S including LG V50, Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, and HTC 5G Hub. Sprint is yet to announce the availability details, pricing, and specification of the new OnePlus device. Sprint has not explicitly mentioned the name of the OnePlus phone. However, OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is the only device from the company that supports the 5G network....
